Preshow Noël Toys & Games 2023 : Business, meetings and conviviality on the agenda
The 2023 edition of Preshow Noël Toys & Games, the French toy industry's flagship trade event, was held from 20 to 24 November in Deauville. Here's a look back at the five days of meetings that brought together the key players in the toys & games industry, manufacturers and distributors looking for new products to list in 2024.
THE 2023 EDITION KEY FIGURES
This year, Preshow Noël Toys & Games welcomed 132 exhibitors (including 30 new companies) and almost 400 buyers representing 125 retail brands.
The French and international buyers who took part represented all the retail channels (specialists, multi-specialists, e-commerce, food stores, etc.). This year, the presence of new retailers covering a wide range of segments, including Amazon Europe (UK), Asler (Spain), Kandy.fr, Cinémas Pathé, Gémo, Jardival, Supra Center (Belgium) and TK MAXX (UK and Germany)…proved how attractive Preshow Noël is to boost their business.
In addition, a dozen licensing partners, including The Walt Disney Company France, Universal and Paramount also brought higher value to the event.
The key to the success of Preshow Noël Toys & Games lies in its unique format: participants benefit from one-to-one meetings between manufacturers and distributors in private showrooms recreated for the occasion. The setting and premium working conditions also contribute to the success of this eagerly-awaited annual rendez-vous.
20 YEARS OF THE PRESHOW NOËL: AN ANNIVERSARY EDITION THAT HONOURED EXHIBITORS PRESENT FROM THE START
The opening cocktail evening in partnership with The Walt Disney Company France, always a festive networking event, had a special flavour this year: the Preshow Noël Toys & Games was celebrating its 20th anniversary.
To mark this special edition, a trophy was awarded to the 13 exhibitors who were there from the start and will still be there in 2023. Among them: Asmodee, Canal Toys, Cartamundi, Clementoni, Chicco, Doudou et Compagnie, Gipsy Toys, Joustra-Maped, Klein, Lansay, MGM, Nathan-Dujardin and Revell were honoured for their significant contribution to the event.
